Job Description
Clooci.com is the home of unique Limited Edition Gifts in Art, Gadgets, Home Decor and Collectables. Clooci.com has also created a lifestyle brand called LTD EDN Projects collaborating with artists and brand to produce limited edition fashion accessories in aid of charities.
Clooci.com is looking for a brilliant intern in the area of PR and Communication to work in their office based inNorth Acton (Nearest Station), taking care of primarily LTD EDN Projects communication but also Clooci.com.
Skills:
- Social and outgoing
- Able to write and speak English as a mother tongue
- Able to write and speak another language (French, German, Italian or Spanish)
- Interested in art and design
- Able to understand and use social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Flickr) and blogs (i.e. tumblr)
Tasks:
- Maintain social streams writing content
- Organize and create a weekly newsletter writing about artists, events, projects and good causes
- Attending events and taking pictures / information to write content
- Find blogs to liaise with
- Research and approach magazines and journalists to promote our products/projects
- Organize photo shoots for marketing material
Duration: 4 months – part time (3 days per week)
Expenses: all expenses will be paid. Please note that we are members of Tate and the intern will have access to all exhibitions for free. The intern will be provided with all the material needed.
Starting date: May 2012
