Job Description
The Role
The successful candidate will receive intensive training in the areas of data integration, business intelligence and general SPM concepts. On completion of training you will be placed on a project alongside a senior SPM technical consultant where you will get exposure to a real life project and gain an appreciation of what is expected of you in your new role. Our clients range across many industries including major financial institutions, software houses and telecommunications companies; you will need to be able to adapt to each different environment. The role will require travel to client sites on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers to document their data integration and business intelligence and reporting requirements.
- Designing and implementing data integration and reporting solutions to fulfill the project requirements.
- Testing application solutions and upgrades.
- Designing, coding, testing and documenting enhancements and new functionality for enterprise level applications.
Required Skills
- A good degree in a numerate discipline (2.1 or higher)
- Programming experience using data integration or business intelligence technologies is desirable but not essential
- Good data analytical skills. Knowledge of SQL preferable but not essential however, a willingness to learn new technologies is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 100% dependant on project needs
- The right to live and work in the EU
