Job Description
Chez Europe is a new holiday rental website which intends to offer a wide range of holiday rental homes, apartments and villas across Europe by putting holiday makers directly in touch with the property owners.
The role is wide and varied:
Digital marketing
The primary focus of the role is to research, identify and recruit new holiday rental properties to the Chez Europe website and create a database of new contact details (initially in Excel format).
Monthly targets for recruiting new rental properties will be agreed and reviewed.
Exposure to email marketing tools would be preferable although can be taught.
Web content administrator
The secondary aim of the role is to actually add and input the new holiday properties onto the site. Initially the process will involve creating an Excel template of the holiday property which will then be transposed into an html template. The process may also involve the manipulation and editing of numerous photo images.
Attention to detail and a good eye for design will be of significant importance.
General site development
There is plenty of scope to develop and integrate new and dynamic content for the Chez Europe site as well as improve overall site SEO.
There is also scope to help develop new content areas of the site and establish social networking links such as Twitter feeds, Facebook pages and blogs.
Personal skills
- Confident, motivated, well organised
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and Social Media
- High attention to detail
- Interest in travel
Technical skills
- Excellent IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of web development skills including html, xhtml and css
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop
- Relevant degree, preferably in marketing, business or technology.
Length of placement will initially be part-time for 3-6 months on a voluntary basis. Exact working hours also to be discussed and defined.
Ideally the candidate will be working from home within own time and with minimum supervision.
The role provides a good opportunity for a highly motivated individual to display and improve both their technical and inter personal skills.
