Job Description
The Institute for High Performance is Accenture's macroeconomic, geopolitical and business think tank, developing authoritative points of view on issues relevant to the CEO agenda. The Institute’s London office is currently seeking to recruit two Associates for a period of up to 12 months to work on its core programmes. Current areas of research focus include new drivers of growth in developed and emerging economies, global socio-economic trends, globalisation and the rise of emerging-market multinationals, the role of risk and volatility in business strategy and operations, macroeconomic analysis of major markets, and skills and innovation issues in Europe. The positions offer an excellent opportunity to apply research skills in a business context.
Applicants should have at least a good primary degree, preferably combining a strong social science background (e.g. in economics) with good insight into global issues affecting businesses and the public sector. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as is an ability to explain complex ideas to a non-specialist audience and to work in partnership with a range of external experts, organisations and think tanks. A strong quantitative background would be an advantage. The positions are based in the City of London and will be offered on a contractual basis, initially for a period of three months. All applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
To apply, please write to Matthew Robinson attaching a one-page CV.
Closing date for applications: Monday 20 September 2024
Starting date: October 2010; negotiable.
Salary: approx. £100/day.
