Job Description
We are a small web based company in north London that provide online advertising portals for the education, conservation and now London events sector.
We are looking for a social media intern to help boost the online profile of our recently launched site whats-on-london.co.uk through utilising facebook, twitter, blogging, press releases and other means. This is a great opportunity for someone very interested in a career in social media to get real experience and develop the techniques needed to get a concept out into the mass market. Interest in the London events and entertainment sector is massive, so this is a really big and exciting project that aims to get 100,000 plus followers on social media plus a similar ball park figure in terms of monthly website hits.
What we are looking for:
- Someone looking for a career in social media.
- Someone extremely competent in using facebook and twitter.
- Someone with an interest in and/or experience of promoting events.
- Someone who is a good communicator with a fluent and engaging writing style.
- Someone prepared to do some self-study and research to improve their social media marketing techniques.
- Someone who can work independently and take initiative.
- Someone excited by the challenge of getting their message out to 100,000s of Londoners!
