Job Description
Looking for a photographer who wants to build their portfolio. Would suit people with interest / experience in photography for theatre and live peformance.
We are running a one day workshop exploring the use of shadows in the design for Uncle Vanya by Chekhov. This is part of a proposal for the JMK Award, a prestegious young theatre director award. We have been long listed and now need to submit a design for the production. The winner of the award directs a full production at the Young Vic Theatre in October.
The photographer will capture the experiments with light and shadow. We have an experienced designer (Alex Lowde) and excellent lighting designer (Aaron Dootson).
As this is a proposal for a competition we are unable to offer any payment. However we will be creating some fantastic images and hope to find someone talented who wants to add some really interesting material to their portfolio.
Dates are yet to be confirmed but it will be one day next week in central london. If you are interested in this opportunity please send your availability and examples of your work.
