Getting down and working on projects is very time consuming. Looking to work with an agent that could provide some Sales, Admin and Public Relations services. That is to utilise email and telephone to pitch for projects. A tactical approach will yield the best of results for both parties.
Contacting around 50 contacts but securing one project may prove not worthwhile or viable. The suggestion is that the agent investigates local business publications such as magazines, newspapers etc. and identify small to medium size businesses such as retailers, charities, kindergarten, nursery, after school clubs (karate, badminton, etc.), various other clubs and associations that may require the company’s services. The preferred tactic is to target people with ‘money to spend’, focus on them and deal with them in a friendly, professionally manner without overwhelming them.
The agent will not be on a salary (or regular monthly payment) per say. Rather payment will be made on a project by project basis via bank to bank transfer. This way both parties can trace payments easily. This is also a good motivation method. One is hoping that the agent will be paid 10% of the price for a web design project, 10% of the price for a photography package and 5% for studio hire rates – because it is not much money as compare to the first two services.
A client will secure our services with a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the project directly into the company’s account. Once a project had been secured, one will then meet with the client and start working on the project through to the end. On project completion, the agent will follow up via email making sure that the client is happy and offer additional services where applicable.
