Job Description
Knowledge Peers is a successful directors' network, offering experience sharing and learning via video case studies, research and events.
We are looking for a student or recent graduate to join our team on a flexible, freelance basis.
Role description
Primarily, working efficiently to assemble and cut single and two camera interviews. Alongside this they will occasionally be required to shoot interviews, on location around London.
Secondly being able to produce marketing collateral, falling in line with the company style and branding. In the form of adverts, posters and web-based advertising.
Technical skills/knowledge:
- Competent with FCP
- Competent in the use of mid-range handycams (Canon HV30 / HF100)
- Understand shot composition and framing
- Understand sound recording using wired lapel mics
- Competent with use of Adobe CS to create creative design collateral within our brand guidelines
Additional skills
- Understanding of basic HTML and how to create static web pages
- Competent with the use of a DSLR for capturing both video and stills
Personal Skills:
- Competent recent media or design graduate / current student with a good skill base
- Well organised and personable
- Able to work within parameters, yet still bringing their own creative flair to a project
- Confident enough to work independently, and to use initiative when problem solving
Rates of pay will depend on experience.
There is a possibility this role could be split between two people, one specializing in video and one design. Although a competent all-rounder would be preferable.
