Job Description
Calling all sports enthusiasts!! Love sport as much as we do, then this is the role you've been looking for. Come and join the founders of SportPursuit, and grab the role as our sports writer. Got interesting perspectives, write engaging blogs - it's time you started writing for us.
Qualifications should include:
- Graduate
- Motivated and self starting
- Creative with strong written skills
- Passion for sport
Role:
- Writing articles covering a range of sports, including some of triathlon, cycling, running, snow sports, rugby and the outdoors…
- …across a range of topic areas including opinion and perspectives (editorial), results, product and brands reviews to our member base
- · Content will be used across our sites (blog, facebook, twitter) to engage our members and fans and outside our site to help develop the SportPursuit image and support our PR initiatives.
- · All copy produced will be credited to you, helping you build your career longer term in sports journalism.
- Opportunity to be part of a start-up business where you can have real impact and learn what it takes to launch.
The role is either full time or part time depending on your availability and other commitments. You have the option to work from home or join us in SportPursuit HQ, obviously if you’re in and around London we’d prefer to have you in the office with us J. The role is an internship with expenses paid, but has the potential to grow to a full time position.
