Location: Xian, China

Job Description
What do you get?
- A 4 month placement in Xian, China with free accommodation in a furnished flat.
- Teach English for 18 lessons per week.
- During your stay you will have a minimum of 6 organised activities such as food tasting, enterntainment and sports, guided local excursions and cultural activities.
- You will receive 2 private Chinese lessons per week.
- Receive a salary of RMB 2000 per month (equivalent to approximately £200 per month and more than adequate for all your regular expenses.
- Receive 24/7 support from China Challenge's local team and partner when in China plus,:
- pre-departure training and Visa application support.
Do you qualify to apply?
We are looking for recent university graduates or students already at university wishing to take a break, who have English as their first language. An education background is ideal but all subjects are welcome. The ideal candidate is a good communicator, enjoys working with young people, has a strong work ethic and is capable of personal initiative. No Chinese language skill is required. Previous teaching is desirable but not required.
Costs
- £300 fee to cover all of the benefits of our programme, listed above.
- Your airfares into and out of China, currently as low as £600 return UK-China.
- Visa fees: approximately £66.
