Job Description
Salary: £25k – £30k
We are a luxury florist based in London and are urgently seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to liaise with and oversee the Store staff. This role will have a split base between the London shop and the Stores nationwide and will, on occasion require travel and over-night trips within the UK.
Duties will include:
- Setting customer service and target expectations for the stores to meet
- Organising regular meeting and store visits to ensure good communication is maintained between Head Office and shop floors
- Set guidelines by which Store staff adhere to regarding issues that can be dealt with effectively
- Assisting the Director with recruitment
- Maintaining brands standards by ensuring staff adhere to set procedures and facilitate any training needs that may arise
- Liaise with suppliers and ensure upkeep of good relationship with them for efficient delivery times and best prices
- Ensure supply chain is always running at an optimum level
- Oversee facilities of shop floors, including dealing with landlords, computer and phone issues
- Assist the Director with the organisation of store launches where necessary
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in retail
- Good communication skills
- Experience in financial management
- Some floristry experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
