Job Description
Due to its rapidly expanding business, Ekioh is looking for a highly self motivated software development engineer. Working alongside some of the industry's best embedded C++ developers, the successful applicant will be involved in a wide variety of challenging projects participating in all aspects of the product lifecycle from design, development and integration through to verification, which are helping to shape the future of consumer electronics, television and enterprise computing products.
Essential Attributes:
- A firm understanding of embedded C/C++ development
- Knowledge of scripting languages, e.g. Python
- A foundation in web technologies including Javascript, DOM, HTML, SVG
- Some experience of using source control systems
- A willingness to embrace the company's test methodologies
- Comfortable with working primarily in Mac & Linux environments with Windows/CE skills a bonus
Based largely from our offices in Cambridge, this role is intended to provide a basis for personal growth at the same time as directly contributing to the company's performance. There will be the occasional opportunity for travel both within the UK and overseas.
