In our continued efforts to improve FreelanceStudents, we have rolled out new exciting updates this week! Key changes include the following:
Job Board
The Job Board layout has changed; the main title is bolder and the contract type (e.g. voluntery, temporary, etc), the company name, and the expiry date are now visible. There are further changes that will be made to the Job Board that will make it easier to refine your search, so you can find that great opportunity you’re looking for!
Applying for Jobs
This is the biggest change we’ve made. When an applicant applies for a job they are now presented with a page in which they can paste a cover note and attach a CV. The cover note and CV are then mailed to the employer via FrelanceStudents. This results in a much smoother process for both students and employers and is a standard industry practice.
