Job Description
Due to continuing international success, Sunrise Systems needs to expand its software development team based in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire and offers unique opportunities for the right people. We develop PIPENET, a world leading software tool for rapid flow analysis of pipe and duct networks.
Windows Software Engineer
It is key to our continuing success that we present users with a user interface which is attractive, state-of-the-art, and functional. We are looking to strengthen the team working in this area, enabling the user to:
- Use a graphical user interface to model their pipes and equipment
- Quickly see analysis results in tabular and graphical form
- Store data in files for re-use and sharing
Our software runs on Microsoft Windows, and is developed with Visual Studio. The existing implementation is in a mixture of C++, C#, and WPF.
The key skills we need are:
- An interest in the latest emerging Windows/Microsoft technologies, and the practical skills to use them in our current and future products
- The ability and willingness to understand and develop the exiting codebase.
- The personality, flexibility, and independence to work within a small friendly team and handle a varying workload including some email customer support.
