Working at RAFT

We are a diverse group of people including scientists, laboratory staff, fundraisers, executives and volunteers. This position plays a vital part in our fundraising team efforts and could be converted into a new permanent role when our Fundraiser returns from maternity leave in approximately one year.

Fascinating mix of planning, reaching out to local communities, office administration, PR activity and maintaining social media presence.

The candidate must have…

¨       Confident communication skills (face to face, written, telephone and social media)

¨       The skill to nurture and build relationships with current and potential supporters.

¨       Confidence using Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

¨       Ability to prioritise workloads, deal with tight deadlines, pay close attention to detail and work within data protection principles.

¨       Bags of enthusiasm and must really relish challenges.

How to apply:

Go to our website and download the information pack and then send CV and a brief, well formatted and informative covering letter highlighting how your skills are a match for the role and why you believe you would be the best person for the job.

Given the level of interest we expect in this position and our limited administrative resources, we regret that we will be unable to contact candidates who are not going to be invited for interview. We would aim to give around one week’s notice of an interview appointment if you are shortlisted and anticipate holding interviews in the third week of March.

Closing date: 5pm on 12th March 2012.

RAFT is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from a diverse range of qualified applicants.
