Job Description
3 months paid, part time Management Trainee internship.
Interns will carry out various duties to gain working and cultural experiences during the duration of the programme including:
- English Language training to the local Chinese staff
- Be responsible for the operational and departmental efficiency of a department and staff in that department - this is dependent on which of our partner companies they are placed with.
- Work part-time.
- Undertake upto 8 days of guided cultural and historical excursions.
- Earn additional income by teaching English language to local Chinese students.
- Hours of work: 40 hours per week for the first 2 weeks to allow for training and acclimatization. 30 hours per week thereafter with 2 full clear days days off per week.
- Opportunity to develop management and communication skills as a result of this placement.
- No previous experience or Chinese language experience required.
- Open to any students, graduates, post graduates and allumni.
The cost of the programme is £1950 for a 3 month programme with upto £300 off for early applications. The 3 month programme is inclusive of accommodation, local cultural and historical travel (8 days of excursions) and living expenses. Candidates will be fully briefed and trained prior to departure and will be given 24/7 support both in the UK and China for the duration of their placement. They will receive weekly private Chinese lessons and be able to earn additional income by teaching English to Chinese Students locally.
