Job Description
2 Personal Assistants are required to help a young family with day-to-day life. Both parents are visually impaired and require assistance with tasks inside their home and with trips out with their young children.
There are 2 Personal Assistant vacancies available, flexibility is required to ensure adequate cover should one Personal Assistant be absent through sickness or holiday.
Duties will include day-to-day tasks such as assisting the family to go out on trips together and shopping.
Each Personal Assistant will work approximately 9 hours per week. The role is flexible and one Personal Assistant could work 2 days (7.2 hours) per week and the other 3 days per week (10.8 hours) but this can be discussed at interview.
Experience of working with children and visually impaired people is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
