Job Description
Ambitious young startup team is looking to recruit talented .Net/C# Developer to work on exciting project.
Key Characteristics and Skills
- Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MSSQL, XML, XSLT, HTML/ HTML5/ XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, Jquery.
- SQL Server 2008 craftsman
- Healthy appetite for technological challenges
- Structured and agile thinker
- Strives for excellence in improving performance
- Passionate about what they do
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and ready to take on responsibility
Bonus points for
- .Net Certified Developers
- Experience using AJAX and SOA, understanding of distributed transactions
- Experience of dealing with scaling issues
- Keen on network security including firewalls and SSL VPN
- Interest/ experience developing cloud applications
- Interest/ experience developing mobile applications
- Knowledge of other frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, PhP, MySQL
The project
We want to make collaboration better with the innovative web-application we are developing. The project has plenty of technology challenges at the core and requires somebody who is creative and wants to push their abilities. You will work independently and/or alongside our Senior Developer on key tasks such as,
- Developing back-end components that support live user interaction
- Developing front-end components using cutting edge javascript techniques
- Working on caching and scaling issues
- Working with the UX team to ensure user interfaces work smoothly
- Working with external technical partners to coordinate development
- Contributing to system architecture design
- Contributing to project management
We are excited about our project and are looking for somebody who will become a key player in our young, ambitious start-up team. The right candidate will be self-motivated, competent, flexible and passionate about their work. The role is offered initially on a 4 month contract, at which point a package will be considered based on performance.
