Job Description
We’re looking for local uni ambassadors to create, curate and maintain their own section on the insideuni.com website. If you’re always in the know and have writing, filming or photography skills that put all others to shame we want to hear from you. Remember Inside Uni is an alternative, honest voice for students and absolutely nothing like your own uni’s student paper.
What will I need to do?
As an Inside Uni ambassador at your university you are responsible for producing vibrant, honest and exciting local content to populate your uni’s pages – words, photos, audio, video, events listings. Secondly, you’ll be the face of insideuni.com within your university – remember to smile.
What do I earn?
Respect from your peers. Which is the nice way of saying the opportunity is unpaid. What you do get is an opportunity to showcase your work to other students, gain valuable experience and earn legendary status as a complete know it all amongst your peers.
What is Inside Your Uni?
“Inside Your Uni” is a section on Inside Uni devoted to specific universities. Each university cover 4 topics: news, photos, videos and events. These allow readers to receive specific news from their chosen uni. Everything under the Inside Your Uni section has been provided by an “Inside Uni Ambassador” member. Our mission is to create a passionately written, honest, alternative guide to your uni written by actual uni students, not your grandad or some SU busybod with an agenda.
What Do I Have To Do?
As a founder of an Inside Uni group at your university you are responsible for the following:
- Create as much interesting original content as possible.
- Promote your group within your university.
- Generally be amazing.
Great! How Do I Apply?
Please email with the subject as “Inside Uni Ambassador” with following
- CV
- University name and year of study
- Examples of your work, plus links to blog and twitter accounts
- You may apply as an individual founder or a team of 2 co-founders.
