4 Good Reasons to Volunteer

Student Logo Design Competition: UBD Network

So far, our blog has only promoted FreelanceStudents’ competitions. We’re asked, every now and again, to blog about giveaways by various companies, but to-date we’ve politely declined. Why? Well, we haven’t come across anything that’s represented our readership, which tends to err towards the young, hip, student, creative and tech types. But we’re no haters, so when we were informed about a logo design competition targeted at students, naturally, we sat up.

Competition Details

The competition is being run by a cool little website called UBD Network, which offers a mechanism for creating online portfolios, and is being sponsored by Head & Griffiths who specialise in made-to-measure tailoring using talented British designers for their collections.

The brief is to create a unique emblem/logo that can sit along side Head & Griffiths existing typographic logo. The prize is a fully made to measure tailored shirt for him or her, from Head & Griffiths worth £75 - nice. We think it’s an exciting competition, and will do much to boost your portfolio and chances of landing that dream student job whether you win or not. So go get creative and good luck!
