Language Connect is a leading Language, Localization and Multilingual Digital Marketing agency headquartered in London’s fashionable Bermondsey Street area. Since its beginning in 2003, the company has grown consistently and expanded internationally to Germany and Australia. Over the last 12 months, Language Connect has achieved record-breaking turnover growth of 95%.
We are currently looking for a creative and web savvy Sales and Marketing Intern who could support our online marketing campaigns and outbound sales activities. This role would enable you to gain hands-on experience in developing online marketing campaigns, copy writing, website management, social media, sales and online branding. You would be involved in a variety of tasks, where you can get real exposure to our business and contribute to our success.
Primary Job Duties:
- Generating new business opportunities through outbound Sales and Marketing activities, researching and approaching potential clients.
- Preparing our quarterly newsletter, client questionnaires and following-up with dormant accounts.
- Assist our team in linkbuilding and content seeding activities.
- Develop our brand online through social media engagement and online ad placement.
- Preparing accurate quotations for incoming prospect and requests.
- Preparing pitches and proposals working together with our Solution Sales Manager.
- Assisting in creation of creative marketing campaigns for the company.

Our internships are full time positions in our London office. The working hours are from 09.00 to 18.00, Monday to Friday. Initially the internship is offered for 3 months; however it can be extended by further 3 months or even turned into a permanent position.
Requirements for the role:
- Recently completed or currently pursuing MA or BA studies in Business or Marketing
- Commercial awareness and high level of numeracy
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambition to develop a career in sales and enthusiasm to learn about the language services industry
- Excellent command of English and another language is preferred
- 3-6 months of previous work experience in an office/agency environment is preferred
