Job Description
Event Business Academy (www.eventbusinessacademy.com) is an Oxford based company specialising in event management training.
We are looking for well-presented, ambitious and organised students to be brand ambassadors on campus to promote our Event Essentials 2012 course - a one-week event management training programme in Oxford which includes a visit to the Olympic Games, Wimbledon, or Old Trafford.
For successful candidates, we are offering:
- £100 every term for each ambassador as well as £150 commission for every booking you take
- An all-expenses paid training & induction day with our management at Lincoln College, Oxford
- Free publicity materials and support for promotional events or activities
- A pair of Wimbledon 2012 tickets for our top three brand ambassadors
Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting Event Essentials on campus using a variety of channels and methods
- Using social media and university mailing lists/notice boards to generate interest
- Planning & hosting your own promotional events, with support from our team
- Giving monthly updates on promotional activities and course interest
- This role will begin after the training day and will run for 4-6 weeks, depending on term times.
The ideal candidate will be sociable, ambitious and have the confidence to work independently.
Students have the option to work as a team of two on campus if they think it will be more effective. This will not affect your individual commission.
