We are a financial media boutique based in the City of London, specialising in organising asset management conferences in Switzerland and UK.
Requirement
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and charismatic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships in this business development role. You will be expected to develop new revenue streams and be responsible for rebooking existing clients.
The successful candidate will be a graduate who ideally has some experience in sales in conference/ exhibition/events and enjoy working to specific targets/objectives. The candidate must be able to deal with pressure, be self motivated, driven and a tenacious go-getter with a ‘can do’ attitude. They will need to be experienced and comfortable in seeking out and canvassing new business and in servicing and up-selling to existing contacts. An excellent telephone manner and composure are essential.
Generic investment knowledge is desirable, as is the ability to speak German.
A basic wage will be provided but pay will also be based on the business that is brought in, with earnings of up to £40-50k. This is a permanent position and we are looking for someone to start immediately.
