Job Description

We are a small law firm focused on intellectual property and internet law, and have a vacancy in our offices in Islington, London N1 for one or two university students who are able to add value immediately with marketing and/or writing support, including assisting on various projects, such as social media, search engine and blogging tasks.

The ideal candidate(s) will be a marketing and/or journalist student looking for regular work whilst studying for their degree.  The position offers a rare opportunity to gain solid work experience, and to learn about an area of law that is highly relevant to marketing or journalist students.

Although the role primarily involves working for a law firm, there is an associated internet business that provides websites and internet marketing services for whom the job applicant may also do some work.  That separate internet business would ultimately be looking to recruit a marketer or writer.  So, for the right candidate the role could ultimately lead to a permanent position with great long term career prospects.

You should be available to work a few afternoons (up to 5) each week during term time and the holidays.

General requirements for candidates:

Great administrative skills;

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software;

Advanced IT literacy, beyond routine Office applications;

Excellent communication both oral and written;

Good telephone manner;

Ability to work independently with initiative and common sense;

Positive enthusiastic 'can do' attitude;

Those who are most likely to succeed at Azrights will have excellent communication skills as the ethos of the firm places high value on communication clearly and in plain English.
