Job Description
Who we are: SocialTech (& our sister business eBusiness Media)
SocialTech – helps businesses use the internet to communicate better with customers, partners and the wider world through consultancy, training and mentoring.
eBusiness Media – produces video content and motion graphic animations specifically for the web.
You'll be working in both areas of the business selling mostly pre-defined packages.
What we're looking for: A sales/marketing person who can think for themselves and help us continue to grow the business.
We are flexible about the hours and way in which you work, the commission structure is 25-30% for most products and we have a good “warm” database for you to start with.
This role will not suit someone who has to be told exactly what to do; You need to be able to think for yourselves, set targets and processes for how you follow up our leads. Some sales experience is useful as is a general knowledge of the internet. Lots of training and opportunities to develop will be provided to the right person.
At interview, we'll be looking for you to answer 3 fundamental questions to get the job:
1. Can you do the job?
2. Will you do the job?
3. Will you fit in to the team?
Other stuff you might want to know:
Location: Central Bournemouth overlooking the square (nearly with a sea view!)
Education: The role is phone & email based, so good telephone and written English is required
Language skills: The ability to translate from semi-geek to English is useful, but not essential
Salary: Equivalent to £26-42k (realistic to possible) including a strong commission based element
Hours: 20-35 hours, we can be flexible with start and finish time as long as you get it done
