Job Description
2050futures is a specialist communications agency with a difference.
That's because we're concerned with principle, thought and ideals - working with clients who are committed to achieving a more energy-efficient, cleaner and healthier future.
To help us grow and develop the business, we're on the search for a graduate to fill our internship position. You'll have a keen interest in the environment, green issues, agriculture and food. Over the initial eight-week period of the internship you'll be undertaking a research and communication role: identifying companies and organisations who share common interests with 2050futures and introducing the agency. You'll be raising awareness of the agency and our work through writing editorial and comment articles for the press, and using these same skills to work with clients to deliver their messages and objectives.
You'll have a great command of the English language and enjoy using language to express thoughts and ideas to others. You'll also have excellent verbal communication skills, be able to express yourself succinctly and to take a lead in discussions. You'll be confident about performing well on your own: self-discipline and steady commitment are essential. You'll be someone who's keen to find a job that aligns with their own principles and where you can use and deploy those principles day-to-day.
We have secured funding for the initial eight-week internship, which will pay national minimum wage, although we may choose to increase that at our discretion.
For the right candidate, a permanent position may be available following completion of the internship.
