Voluntary
Location: Keighley and Ripon Morrison's Stores
Closing Date: December 2nd, 2010
Job Description
Are you willing to spare just one or two hours of your time? We are seeking hardy individuals or groups who are happy to stand out in the wind, rain and sun (you may be lucky!) to collect vital funds and raise valuable awareness for Macmillan. This role involves: standing at the entrance/exit of a supermarket or on a public street with a collecting tin or bucket and collecting money for Macmillan for an hour or two. Authorised collections take place any day of the week, usually between 8am and 8pm. You will be needed for as much time as you could spare during these periods.
We particularly need volunteers for countywide collections in Morrison stores from the end of November/early December. Our ideal is to be able to ring you now that we have a collection coming up – if you can help then great, if you can’t then that's absolutely fine, we’ll just keep you on the list for next time! We would not be looking to call on you more than 4 times a year. Any time you can spare would be very much appreciated!
