Job Description
deltatre media is currently looking for an Intern to work as a Web & Video Project Assistant on a part-time basis on some high-profile international sports federation websites and multimedia projects.
The primary focus of the role is to assist in the project management of various projects, provide basic operational support and to assist in the operations of our streaming projects.
The role will include, but not limited to:
* Writing project documentation
* Live website operational support
* Live streaming operational support
* Assistance to web project managers on project tasks
Person Specification:
The person should be an intelligent, enthusiastic and inquisitive individual who has a passion for technology and sport. The successful applicant will need to be self confident self starter and able to act on their own initiative. We are looking for an individual who has or is studying computer science or a similar technology degree that is interested in project management and understands how websites work.
An ability to work flexible hours is essential, as due to the nature of our work, evening and weekend work will be required.
We will be offering the NMW for this position and should be 3 days a week.
The successful candidate will need the correct visa entitlement to travel throughout Europe.
Required Technical skills:
Candidates must have skills in the following:
* Project management
* Understanding of Content management Systems
* Understanding of all facets of web development including functional design, technical implementation and a working knowledge of HTML and design constraints.
Technical skills which are preferable but not essential:
o CSS
o Microsoft .NET framework version 3.0/3.5
o ASP.NET expertise (VB.NET, C#)
o HTML/XHTML/Javascript/AJAX
o SQL 2000/2005 & PLSQL
Personal skills:
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Good management and organisational skills
* Foreign languages are an advantage
