Job description
INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE - SHARE YOUR STORY IN OUR INTERFAITH WORKSHOPS
We are looking for confident and enthusiastic volunteers of all faiths and beliefs to speak with us in our ‘Encountering Faiths & Beliefs’ Workshop. Help us tackle misconceptions and spread understanding, by sharing your experiences and beliefs with young people across London. This is a brilliant chance to:
•Gain interfaith skills for confident, sensitive and effective communication across different faiths and beliefs.
•Be mentored and supported by our experienced staff
•Gain experience of working with young people, valuable for trainee teachers or youth workers
While some knowledge of your belief system is required, we are only asking you to represent yourself, so you only need to be an expert on the latter!
Training runs every six weeks over two sessions. Training costs are £40 for organisations (with discounts for multiple participants), £15 for individuals and £10 for students. THIS COST IS REIMBURSED IF YOU BECOME A VOLUNTEER SPEAKER WITH 3FF.
GET IN TOUCH.
