Retire the Side is focused on the development and well being of baseball pitchers. We are looking for coders to help us complete the application which at this time is about 85% complete. We are specifically looking for someone whom can pull the data collected and create the statistical reports we are asking. We have also identified some bugs and defects that need to be fixed.

We’re using the Sencha Touch Mobile JavaScript framework ( MVC Pattern) that relies heavily on HTML5, CSS3 and webkit (http://www.sencha.com/products/touch/) . Please make sure that you’re well versed in the new features and functionality in HTML5 and CSS3. The Sencha Touch framework is designed to run on the iPhone, iPad, Android, and Blackberry touch devices. We’re going to initially target the iPad, but we’ll want to eventually run on all of these devices. This will require intimate knowledge of some of the nuances that are found in these devices regarding HTML5 and CSS3.

We will require that all required stats are completed, all bugs and defects cleaned up and that the application be formatted for the tablet pc and smartphone. Slide 23 to the end of the document describes what else needs to be done. The RTS stats are almost complete. They just need to have some small coding errors fixed. The OOS stats are about 60% complete and the OBS have not yet been started. The playing cards will also need to be done.
