Job Description
Our client is a small niche search and selection company working internationally in the drinks industry. They specialise in the recruitment of Supply Chain/Operations people at middle to senior management level. The Company works from offices in Bramley, near Guildford, and has been established for 10 years.
A member of their team is relocating and a vacancy has arisen for a Recruitment Researcher. The role is approximately 20 hours per week initially but this position may expand to full time.
We require someone who is organised and methodical with an excellent telephone manner.
Key requirements of the role are:
- Discussing the job profile with the recruiting director to obtain a full understanding of the role(s)
- With the recruiting director highlighting the target requirements and companies
- Identifying potential candidates from existing database and contacts
- Researching websites like Linkedin for potential candidates
- Approaching existing contacts who may be able to assist
- Telephoning potential candidates to ascertain interest, discuss the role and obtain the necessary background information required by the director:
- Suitability for the role
- Willingness to relocate
- Notice period
- Salary details
- Pass to the recruiting director the CV of the potential candidate(s) with a brief report covering the above points
- Follow up with candidate if asked to do so by the director
- Keeping accurate records off ALL contacts and conversations on the File Finder database
- Up loading candidates’ CVs and details to the File Finder database
To succeed in this role you must:
- Enjoying speaking to people and have an excellent telephone manner
- Be comfortable approaching people via the telephone whom you have not spoken with previously
- Be discreet and confidential in all your dealings
- Have good computer skills
- Be organised
- Have a tenacious approach – if at first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again!
