COMPANY PROFILE:
Ring Automotive Ltd, UK market leader in automotive lighting, is fast expanding in Europe with a focus on the trade and retail aftermarkets. Following significant investment in new product development, Ring is looking to further grow its European business via the addition of a high calibre graduate trainee to its Export sales team.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
In this role you will be assisting the Northern European Sales Manager to win new business and develop the sales and marketing of products to distributors, retail chains and trade partners across Europe. While shadowing the Sales Manager, you will be required to analyse current business and research new opportunities for business development, including:
- Gathering and interpreting customer/market data
- Compiling market reports and interacting with the sales team
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
- Developing successful pricing models
- Creating and developing appropriate promotional strategies
- Identifying and meeting with potential customers to develop sales
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidates will have a 2:1 or higher in a business or related degree with European languages, as well as the following attributes:
- Analytical skills and a high level of numeracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as contribute to team goals
- Ambition and self motivation
- Confidence and strong presentation skills
- Professional attitude with a dedicated work ethic
- European languages
