Job Description
This is a very exciting opportunity to join in to a recently redeveloped Communications team. In this post, you will be responsible for proactively promoting the work of the organisation and reactively responding to media enquiries and enhance the positioning of the organisation nationally and internationally. You will be heavily involved in providing strategic advice and developing and implementing media and PR campaigns to promote the organisation.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:
-Experience working in a busy press office
-Extensive working knowledge of broadcast, print, and online media channels
-Proven record of running proactive PR and media campaigns
- Crisis management experience is essential to this role
-Experience of building strong relationships with the media (regional, national, and international)
-Ability to thoroughly analyse data
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to identify stories and thorough understanding of current affairs and news
-Foreign language skills desirable (French/Spanish)
You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with the media and identifying suitable media channels. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a high profile Communications team, and help enhance the standing of the organisation as a whole.
